There’s tons of stuff to keep you busy in the Florida Everglades. If you’re ready for a trek towards Homestead and have a whole day to spare you may want visit the Everglades National Park. On the other hand, if you’re just visiting Fort Lauderdale for a couple of days and want to do something outdoors, you might want to try an airboat ride from one of the operators that are located near I-595 near I-75. These usually take just a couple of hours and if you’re lucky you may catch sight of lots of alligators!
